...The 2009 Asia Pacific Convention is hosted by Philippine South District and will be held in Cebu City, a city also known as “The Queen City of the South.” Cebu City is located at the center of the Philippine South District, in the group of islands called the Visayas. Our clubs are found on the islands of Boracay, Panay, Negros, Cebu and Bohol, and in eight cities and two municipalities in the great, southern-most island of Mindanao.
...Cebu City, like the rest of the Philippine South District, is characterized by its busy and hard-working, yet warm, friendly and hospitable people. You will feel at ease here, in the warm and relaxed atmosphere of the South.

ASPAC 2009 Convention

....Every year, Kiwanians from Districts and Kiwanis-nations in the Asia-Pacific region meet to further strengthen their commitment to serve the children of the world.
..... We are then very pleased to announce that Cebu City of the Philippine South District of Kiwanis International will play host to the 34th Asia-Pacific (ASPAC) Convention on March 12-14, 2009 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.
