Barangay has plans to improve day care property - Mike Ralota
Before the meeting was called to order, some members were asking PP Joe Uy why his right eye was blackened, disfi-guring his whole face. They joked his wife, Vicky, had hit him in the face with one of Red Carpet’s frying pans. But, he said that it was just an allergic reaction to his hair dye and he would soon recover.
With this explanation, Pres. Conchita Van Gelder opened the meeting by an-nouncing the members who would not be able to attend that evening’s meeting due to being out of town or otherwise indis-posed.
The formalities were suspended and she started with the report on the Kiwanis Day Care Center painting project schedul-ed that coming Saturday.
PP Jun Encorporado reported on the conditions of the building and the pro-perty. He said that the overseer had become one of the occupants, but one of the teachers said that the barangay was looking for a place to relocate them. He said that he originally suggested to ele-vate the school floor by 0.4m, but since the road had just been elevated, so it now has to be raised by 0.7m to avoid flood-ing.
